Lake Owen Resident Voices Opposition to Proposed Law as Bad for Lake Owen

Lake Owen resident Tim Seline has joined a growing majority of people who voice opposition to LRB-3518 pending in the Wisconsin Legislature as bad for Lake Owen.  Tim Seline and his wife wife have observed in the southern Big Bay that “even when the wake boats stay out in the middle, the waves reaching the shore are quite large.” Tim has forwarded to the Lake Owen Association the following link to an article published earlier today in (Upper Midwest) Silent Sport Magazine that documents how wake boats are bad for the lake ecology  Silent Alarm: Proposed Wakeboarding Bill Bad for Paddling, Fishing, and Invasive Species by Michael McFadzen
