Lake Owen Association Annual Picnic

LOA Annual Family Picnic will be held at the north end of the lake at the USFS Picnic Area starting at 5:00 p.m.. on Saturday, July 13, 2019.  LOA has arranged for Old Southern BBQ of Hayward to cater the event, and they will provide meats (ribs, pulled pork), and baked beans. Each family is asked to bring a dish to pass (like salad or dessert), plus their own beverages. LOA will supply buns, condiments, paper plates, plastic cups, napkins and plastic tableware.  Each year this event is well attended and it’s a lot of fun for all, so don’t miss it!   The Lake Owen Association Annual Picnic is open to all dues paying members. Many people bring their own chairs and beverages, some arriving by boat and beaching to the sides of the swimming area. No docks but they have a vault toilet. The Lake Owen Picnic Grounds is managed by the National Forest Service and is located at the far northern tip of the Northwest lobe of Lake Owen and has a large parking lot off North Lake Owen Drive/ FR 213, Drummond, Wisconsin .
