Wisconsin National Guard specimen collection teams are supporting local health departments and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services effort to increase the state’s COVID-19 testing capacity.  So far, they have a cumulative total gathered for COVID-19 testing approached 350,000 as teams continue to operate across Wisconsin in mobile testing sites since early April.  A Wisconsin National Guard specimen collection team will be at the Cable Community Center on Friday August 14, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.   After collecting the specimens at each site, the test kits are sent to a lab for analysis.  Individual citizens receive their results via a phone call from their local health department or a state call center within three-to-seven days following the test. If you feel any symptoms or you want to make sure you aren’t a carrier, be safe and get tested.  For further information: National Guard Press Release:  Cable Chamber of Commerce Posting on the Free Testing:
